Welcome to NARPO – Salford Branch!
At NARPO, we believe that life doesn't stop after the Police; it flourishes. Our close bonds and friendships, forged during our service, continue beyond retirement, growing even stronger.
Through social activities and welfare initiatives, our Branch plays a vital role in supporting our members, including police widows and widowers. We take immense pride in our members' public service contributions and recognise their incredible potential to continue making positive societal contributions every day.
Our dedicated Branch representatives and committee work tirelessly to enhance the services offered both nationally by NARPO and locally by the Salford Branch. Together, we strive to improve the wellbeing of our members.

Salford Branch Membership
Our Branch membership currently sits at just over 400 individuals and continues to grow. Our membership is predominately spread through the North West area but we do have members throughout the UK and indeed further afield across the world.
The Branch President is Pete Tonge, an honoury role which Pete embraces with relish.
The Branch is chaired by Steve Lloyd supported by other Branch representatives namely, Andrew (Andy) Connell – Secretary, Mick Thorpe – Treasurer, and Brent Jefferson – Welfare Coordinator.
Our Committee is currently consists of eight members and represent a good mix of long-standing and fairly recent members.
We always welcome enquiries from Branch members who can find some time to support their former colleagues by serving on the Committee and if you would like to find out more then please do contact our Branch Secretary.
