Did you know that as a retired Essex police officer or as the widow, widower, civil partner, life partner, orphan or any other dependent of a retired Essex Police officer, you can claim from the Essex Police Force Benevolent Fund?
The primary objective of the Fund is to provide relief from poverty, suffering, distress or general hardship by means of cash grants, or by such other methods as the Fund’s committee decides. One of our committee members represents the Essex branches of NARPO. If you feel you may be eligible to make a claim, please let us know and we can help. Claims are means tested and the Fund will not finance medical treatment or legal fees.
