Job title: Passenger Assistant

Salary: £22,366 – £23,114 pro rata

Working Pattern: Permanent, 10 – 25 hours per week (various contracts to be discussed at interview)

Locations: Melksham, Calne, Devizes, Salisbury, Chippenham and Trowbridge

Passenger Transport – Community Companions  

Are you in search of a truly fulfilling role? Here’s your chance! Join our Passenger Transport service and play a critical role in ensuring that vulnerable children in Wiltshire receive the education they rightfully deserve.

Passenger Assistants work in conjunction with our drivers, ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of vulnerable students during their journeys to and from school. This role can involve the manipulation and clamping of wheelchairs on the vehicle.

We are a close-knit and highly supportive team where everyone supports each other. We work weekdays, at the start and end of the school day, and enjoy the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at your home address.

We firmly believe that to be a Passenger Assistant it’s about being patient, empathetic, and driven by a desire to make a positive impact. No previous knowledge, skills, or experience needed because we provide comprehensive training.
