Why has the decision been taken to go with CSIS?
NARPO regularly review our partnerships to ensure the best benefits for members. In addition to the competitive policy, CSIS provides both customer service over the phone and online. As a non-profit organisation, CSIS also donates its profits to public and civil service charities.
How do I get a quote and advice on the new policy?
Please contact the CSIS Travel Team on 01622 766 960. If you are traveling before June 1st, CSIS may be able to provide interim arrangements for immediate travel.
Can I still buy the Lighthouse travel policy?
If you would like a new quote for travel insurance, please visit www.lighthousetravelinsurance.co.uk where you will be able to obtain a quotation online. You can also call Lighthouse Travel on 0333 005 1103
I have an existing Lighthouse travel policy and wish to make some changes
If you already have a NAPRO Lighthouse Travel Insurance policy that was purchased between 1st April 2022 and 31/05/2023, and you need to update some changes please call 0333 005 1103, quoting your policy reference number starting ‘LGHNA’ where a member of the dedicated team will be able to assist.
Can I still contact the team at Towergate Health & Protection?
The team at Towergate Health & Protection are still available to assist with your private medical insurance enquiries. They are unable to assist with the new CSIS travel insurance policy. If you have a private medical insurance enquiry please contact them on the usual number 0800 389 7724 and haps-narpoenquiries@towergate.co.uk
Can I still have travel insurance as a bolt on to my AXA health insurance policy?
If you have an existing health insurance policy with travel cover bolted on, you can continue this cover. Please note that if you remove this travel bolt on, you will not be able to add it back on as AXA Health will not permit this.
