In fact, our holidays wouldn’t be what they are without our more than 250 highly knowledgeable leaders – each with their own individual style, talents and favourite destinations. We’ve selected and trained them with care, so they’ll not only navigate the route but provide you with fascinating insights along the way.

On each itinerary, you’ll find a walking grade to give you a clear idea about the ascent, descent and walking time you can expect. We’ve got four basic categories – Gentle, Leisurely, Moderate and Challenging – to help you easily select what’s best for you. To allow even more choice and flexibility, some of our trips feature two grades of walking and two leaders, or our own carefully created ‘flexi-walking’ routes.

Operating with a wholly charitable ethos, we are committed to making a positive impact and support responsible initiatives both at home and abroad. Our surplus profit goes to our Ramble Worldwide Outdoor Trust, where it’s channelled into outdoor charities, conservation projects and walking initiatives throughout the UK. We also support the local communities we visit around the world. In this way, every step you take on your holiday gives back.

What’s more, our tours offer great value for money. Unless otherwise stated, our pricing includes accommodation, meals (typically half board and when possible dinners are taken at local restaurants), local transport, guided walks and at least one of our experienced leaders. Return air or train travel and transfers are also included on most of our trips outside the UK.
