Please see the following email message from the Home Office Communications Directorate inviting stakeholders to take part in research about the Police Covenant. Members may wish to take part, and if so, please use the link in the email-
We are looking for volunteers to take part in research that will help shape a campaign around the new Police Covenant for England and Wales. As part of the creation of the Police Covenant, the Home Office is developing a campaign to inform current and former police officers, staff and volunteers as well as their families about what the Covenant is, how it will make a difference to them, and the support that will be available. To inform this process, we are inviting people to take part in one-to-one discussions to share their views, including serving officers, staff, retired officers, and policing volunteers.
The research is being carried out by BritainThinks, an independent research agency conducting the project on behalf of the Home Office. Taking part will involve a 60-minute video-call discussion with a researcher from BritainThinks, arranged at a time that is convenient. These will take place between 13th December 2021 and 14th January 2022.
If you are interested in taking part, please visit this link to complete the short survey and indicate your availability. We are keen to include a wide range of views and every conversation will enable us to produce the best possible campaign to raise awareness of the support available through the Covenant. Taking part is anonymous and confidential, only BritainThinks will hold the contact details of those that take part and results will be reported anonymously to the Home Office in the final report.
