Later Life Ambitions has written to David Davis MP, Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, to call for older people to be protected during the Brexit negotiations.
In our letter we set out a number of vital issues of concern older people including the protection of universal benefits, the rights of pensioners living and holidaying in the EU, as well as the future of social housing projects that rely on funding from the European Investment Bank.
These issues are rooted in the experience and real life concerns of our members. They demonstrate that there are a number of important issues facing pensioners that Government ministers and Parliamentarians must commit to protecting.
