About Northallerton - (North Riding) Branch
Northallerton - (North Riding) Branch represents retired Police officers, predominantly who worked in the Richmond, Northallerton and Thirsk areas.
There are over 200 full members, comprising of retired officers and their widows, widowers partners and spouses. Associate membership is available to people who do not meet the requirement for full membership but could still qualify for membership such as full members of other branches and other relatives of members.
Our branch secretary is now Michael l’Anson, following Andy Suter who took over the role in September 2018 from Alec Barr who held the post for 17 years.

Northallerton - (North Riding) Meetings and Events
We hold quarterly branch meetings at The Golden Lion, High Street, Northallerton.
Reunion lunches are held three times a year; Spring, Summer and Christmas. They currently take place on Saturdays at The Golden Lion, Northallerton. The spring lunch incorporates the AGM of the branch.
We meet with the other 3 branches of NARPO within North Yorkshire twice a year ensuring a positive working relationship between all 4 branches discussing matters arising at a county wide and national level pertaining to welfare and NARPO Matters.
