About Bradford Branch

With over 500 members Bradford NARPO is one of the largest branches in West Yorkshire. We are a forward looking branch available for advice regarding pensions and welfare. We have a dedicated Welfare Officer offering practical assistance in your time of need.
 
As a member you can enjoy the benefits of discounts arranged with various partners for insurance, holidays and household goods. Jobs suitable for retired officers are also regularly advertised in the NARPO Newsletter and branch circulars.

We hold a number of social events throughout the year. We held the AGM, the Autumn Social and the Christmas Lunch at the Shipley Golf Club, Beckfoot Lane, Bingley.  These events are always friendly and welcoming, a place to reminisce with old buddies or make new friends. Next summer, 2025 instead of the annual trip, we will be holding a Summer Social at the Old Brodeians RUFC, Denholme Gate Road, Hipperholme, Halifax This venue was chosen to host the Amalgamation Reunion in May 2024 and proved to be extremely popular.

The social secretary Jayne Slade will welcome any ideas or suggestions for future events which she will gladly organise, subject to approval from the Committee.

The Committee value our diverse membership who have supported this branch for many years. We particularly want to welcome new members. They will be the future of NARPO and guarantee that we will continue to offer support and friendship to our ex police colleagues who served in Bradford, and also their spouses and partners who made that service possible.
