There was a good attendance at the Staffordshire Branch AGM on Saturday, 23 March 2024.
Following the welcome, Mark Judson presented Life Membership to Bob Vaughan in recognition of his services to the Branch and Tamworth Subbranch where he is Secretary.
Kevin Waters reported on his first completed year as Branch Secretary. The decision at National Conference to incorporate NARPO had resulted in considerable preparation and reviews, which are ongoing. He thanked his fellow executive officers for the assistance and support he had received.
Mike Kozam presented the Branch Accounts highlighting a sound financial position and steps being taken to limit reserves and promote use of the funds to support members. This included allocation of funds to support activities in the eight subbranches. He has been streamlining the funding processes and undertaken a review of membership subscription payments. He thanked his fellow executive officers for the time they have spent on these activities. He has been actively seeking guidance from Narpo HQ for direction on the consequences of Incorporation on how we manage and report financial matters in future.
The Branch Executive Officers were re-elected en-bloc.
A buffet lunch was provided for all in attendance.
