This Memory Board was official unveiled in the John Egerton Suite at Bolton DHQ in the presence of members of John’s family, retired officers who had contributed, senior officers from GMP HQ and the Division and representatives of the Police Federation.

When officers now go into the room they won’t have to ask ‘Who was John Egerton?’ They will be able to read about the sacrifice he made.
