Committee Meetings

If you have any matters you wish to be discussed at Branch meetings then please contact the secretary or one of the committee members.

If you wish to obtain a copy of minutes for a committee meeting then please contact the Secretary and he will forward you by email a copy of the latest approved minutes.

Meetings are held quarterly at Mather Avenue Police Academy. Forthcoming dates are:

AGM

The date for the AGM this coming year is Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at the Liner Hotel, Liverpool , L3 5QB

Arrangements will be sent to you via email closer to the time.

Annual Conference

4th & 5th September 2025 at Blackpool.

 

Welfare

The welfare of our Merseyside NARPO members remains a high priority.  If any of our members need assistance, please contact the Secretary in the first instance.  The person may be referred to a Committee member, all of whom are Welfare representatives and the appropriate contact, assistance or signposting given.

Members over the age of 80 years will be contacted annually and when necessary they will receive a visit from a committee member. Birthday and Christmas cards are also sent.

Funerals

Branch Committee members attend the funerals of all members which take place locally.

Use of the NARPO funeral drape is offered to the next of kin of a deceased member.

Police helmets and caps are also available on request.
Please remember if you hear of the death of a colleague to contact the Secretary  and he will ensure that the appropriate action is taken to make others aware of the death. Please do not resort to Social Media as this can be very distressing to the family.
