Working with our partners at Later Life Ambitions, we have submitted a written response to the joint inquiry by the Communities and Local Government (CLG) Committee and the Health Committee into the long-term funding of adult social care.
Our response incorporates the results of the online survey, which was issued to members of Later Life Ambitions, asking for your views on the social care system, possible reforms, and the mechanism by which to implement long-term and sustainable reforms.
Findings from the survey revealed that only 23% of respondents would describe their experience of social care as good or very good. In contrast 40% said it was poor or very poor, with 36% describing it as mediocre.
The written evidence to the joint inquiry can be found here.
