Position: Medical Courier (self-employed position).
Hours: Full, and part time positions available.
Full time would require nine hours per day.
Start/Finish time flexible depending on location.
Salary: £600.00 for a five-day week (full time), whilst training to ‘ADR’ level (fuel paid).
Additional pay structures available.
Areas: London, Surrey and Kent.
Job Summary: We are seeking professional, punctual and presentable personnel to transport patient medication for cancer diagnostic treatments to hospitals throughout London, the Home Counties and Nationally.
Duties:
- Ensuring the safe transportation of time critical patient medication within the desired ‘Injection Time’.
- To plan your route efficiently in good time, to destination hospital and customer sites, taking into consideration of traffic and weather conditions.
- To communicate with our ‘Control Team’ in a timely manner to ensure delivery times are met. Providing information of any delays on route.
- To follow company procedures and regulations in line with the latest CDG Regulations.
- To conduct and maintain your allocated vehicle on a daily basis to ensure efficient working order.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role to ensure patient injection times are met.
- Efficient communication skills are essential to communicate with our ‘Control Team’.
- Polite manner to interact with hospital personnel.
- Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and parking controls.
Potential candidates require no previous ‘ADR’ experience as ‘In-House’ training will be initially provided. The training will then progress to full’ ADR’ training level.
Appropriate vehicle will be provided, along with the appropriate insurance cover. Any ‘Congestion Charges or ULEZ charges will be paid by the company. You will be required to take your vehicle home on a daily basis, and weekends as we do not have parking facilities at our office in Bow, East London.
