This Grade one listed Mansion House is situated on a 113 acre estate. It was built in the mid 1500’s. It includes formal gardens, parkland and a Roman Mosaic. Also on site is a World War 2 Museum dedicated to the military history of the house and local area.

It is one of the most historic houses in Britain, Henry 8th courted Jane Seymour here! In later times, during the second world war the house was used as a regimential HQ for the US 101st Airborne Division  and plans for the D Day landings were hatched here.
